How much NEET Score is required for MBBS in Russia?
The MBBS admissions process in Russia is straightforward. Indian students are not required to take an admission exam to enroll in Russian medical school. Eligibility for MBBS Admission in Russia for Indian Students.
Eligibility conditions to study MBBS in Russia: Students must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually, as well as a minimum of 50% combined marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, in their final two years of study (11th and 12th). He/she must reach the age of 17 on or before December 31st of the year of admission to the MBBS course. There are no entry exams, and admissions are made on a first-come, first-served basis—MCI-based eligibility criteria.
NEET Eligibility for MBBS Abroad
The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET), a common entrance exam for admission to medical courses, has been made mandatory for those pursuing an MBBS program overseas. The new regulations took effect on March 15, 2019, the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
According to the notification, "the result of NEET shall be valid for three (3) years from the date of declaration of result, entitling a candidate to pursue MBBS or equivalent medical course, including pre-medical/language course, if any, followed by MBBS or equivalent medical course" for admission to an undergraduate medical course in any Russia medical college.
NEET marks for MBBS from Russia
To study MBBS in Russia, a general candidate must achieve at least 137 marks, while those from reserved categories such as OBC, SC, and ST must score at least 107 marks.
